Starz wooden jigsaw puzzles are cut from solid 1/4 inch Maple hardwood. Starz Puzzles' images are printed directly onto the wood substrate using the newest generation of high quality UV Printers. No paper, plywwod or MDF boards use.
First the Maple wood is cut, sanded and given a primer coat. Next the image is printed directly onto the solid wood substrate, using Starz's patented process.Which is then followed with a clear coat and UV dried for surface protection. This results in protection from fading and discoloration. Which also makes the Starz Puzzle, Water Resistant.
